The heat pump will take heat from the earth during the winter to heat the building, and during the summer it can be used to cool the building.
The wind turbine will produce electricity which can be fed back into the national grid to offset running costs
Rain water can be collected and used to flush the toilets, rather than using fresh water.
By using photo-voltaic cells we will be able to reduce our dependancy on mains electricity.
